Eddie Murphy has launched a new recording label and Karrine
‘Superhead’ Steffans
is the actor’s flagship artist, according to a
recent report.

Murphy Entertainment is the latest venture for the actor and he is
expected to debut Steffans’ album in March of 2008, according to Asian News International.

While the nature of Steffans’ artistry hasn’t been disclosed, the video model-turned-author has recently started rapping. She released a mixtape earlier this year, where she performed a freestyle rap. No title for the Steffans album has been revealed at presstime.

Steffans entered into prominence to the mainstream media when she
released a book, after rising to fame as a Hip-Hop video model. The legend of her sexual prowess was already urban lore in many rap circles. Steffans became well known when she published her autobiography, a tell-all called Confessions of a Video Vixen. In the book, she unveiled some of her sexual encounters with several Hip-Hop and sports figures. The book created a firestorm of controversy in the entertainment world.
