MIAMI
— Fresh off of his recent trip to L.A., Ghostwridah returned to Miami with every
reason in the world to be in love with his future.

The
Dade county MC headlined the
SXSW
Farewell Party

at Transit Lounge in Downtown last Friday night, presented by Last Rights
Clothing,
which
also featured
performances by ¡Mayday! & Ketchy Shuby. During his lively 20-minute set, he swiftly ran
through songs from his popular mixtape, 305
& Heartbreaks
and upcoming EP In
Love With My Future
. Ghost hit the stage at approximately 12:20 and blitzed
through selections in front of a mixed audience of fans of all ages, singing
along with him from beginning to end.

“I
flew to L.A. as an unsigned hype,” Ghost slyly told the packed house.
“The meeting went great. Now I’ve returned with a record deal.” Briefly
speaking about his recent trip out to Los Angeles earlier that week where he
recently inked his new record deal. The trip has
thrust his already building buzz into high gear.

Sporting
a Last Rights shirt, jeans and sneakers, the Miami-based rapper began with a
tribute to the Notorious B.I.G., then quickly dived into his songs “Celebrate
Life”, “Crazy” and his new breakout hit, “Red Bottoms”.
Nightlife

You
would think he had a catalog albums-deep by the way his songs were being
chanted in unison throughout his set, over slow snare kicks that boomed throughout
the venue. The show marked Ghostwridah’s first performance since “Red Bottoms” hit the net.

Ghostwridah
ended the show with an acapella verses from the songs “Say What’s Real”
and “All I Know” as fans hung to every word, following along. “Dade
county we made it,” he said, as he closed out his set. The 305 renaissance
has just found its new shining star.
