And the drama continues! After Shyne released a series of opinionated Tweets dissing Kendrick Lamar’s debut album g.o.o.d kid, m.A.A.d city on Twitter, its sparked a series of responses from the newbie, the Game, and Nipsey Hussle.

As revealed earlier, Shyne gave Lamar his due props on his lyrical skills by Tweeting, “Kendrick Lamar is talented with a lot of potential” but maintained the album itself was “trash.”

Food for thought, people: Perhaps, Shyne’s duplicity implies that his ire comes from his disappointment with the album’s production quality–which many can interpret as an indirect diss to Dr. Dre who orchestrated the album–as opposed to Lamar himself. Let that marinate, but moving along.

Proving the proverbial adage that ‘L.A. niggas do stick together’ (unless they’re reppin’ Bloods or Crips), the Game defended Lamar by Tweeting, “Bitch, shut up!!!”

In a moment of clarity, Shyne asked why he was getting involved to which the Game replied, “If its bout KDOT.. It CONCERN ME!!!!!” And that’s when Shyne turned into everyone’s angry uncle and responded, “U outta pocket youngster!!! I felt gkmd album was trash, deal wit!” Which made the Game retort with these cocky words: “Naw blood, YOU TRASH.. Deal wit that!!! The west is mine!!!!! Protect it & EVERYTHING in it at ALL COSTS!!!! Fuck niggas!!! Thank God. #JesusPiece”

And how does Lamar feel about Shyne’s remarks? Surprisingly, unfazed.

“It’s really no response [to him],” said Lamar to Hip-Hop Wired at the Samsung Galaxy Note II event in Los Angeles. “I’m not a  sensitive guy, so that’s his opinion. Can’t stop what the world thinks, so yeah,  that’s him.”

With first week sale predictions above  the 200K range, the Compton native is humbled by the support. “It feels  great, lets me know that people still wanna’ hear good music, real music. Music  that has a connection, rather than just one artist, or one record on the  radio.”

Despite Shyne’s harsh words with the Game, he later stated the Game’s 2005 album, The Documentary, is a “classic” citing “[it] lived up to the hype,” but maintained his stance against Lamar’s much hyped debut.

Later, another west coast rapper shared his views on Shyne’s diss. Nipsey Hussle warned Shyne to never set foot in L.A. on Twitter saying, “If Shyne ever make it bac to the states…somebody tell cuz his west coast pass is revoked.”

Share your thoughts: Is g.o.o.d kid, m.A.A.d city trash or is Shyne just hatin’?
