Lil Kim Addresses The Beef: JUST RESPECT ME!
Lil Kim in a recent interview with radio host Kendra G addressed the situation with Nicki Minaj.
Over all Lil Kim says that she wants to be respected… She says that “those” who come in the game realize that she is still here, that her fans are still here and she’s not going anywhere and then “they” get upset. She says that’s childish…
Let’s recap…
Lil Kim feels disrespected. She knows she’s set trends and is a legend and feels homage must be paid. She cannot be stepped over. She thinks Minaj is swagger jackin’ and disrespecting her at the same time. She has no problem with anyone being a “Queen” or a “Barbie” but she wants her due respect!
This is what happened:
1. Kim goes on stage and sends out a subliminal message to MInaj by taking off her wig and says she’s so above this.
2.Ray J for some reason also steps out on a performance stating the exact same thing…( I don’t know why he of all people came out of left field but it is what it is.)
3.Minaj tweets: “Raise ya hand if u don’t have to diss ppl to feel better about urself. Jealousy is a disease. It kills @ a fast pace. Kisses 2 my bad b*tches.”
4.Drake during a performance with Minaj say’s: “you’re the baddest woman to ever do this rap sh*t. I don’t five a f*ck what Lil Kim or nobody is talkin about. You that baddest chick to ever do this sh*t.”
Does Minaj take shots at Kim in her music? I believe Kim thinks so..It may not just be the wardrobe issue.
Well, we don’t have but handful of female rappers and this is what happens.. Oh well. And what is up with Diddy… let’s save that for another article.
