Mase is not playing any games yall! He claims that after ten years of waiting, he‘s finally being released from Bad Boy. In a surprise visit during Diddy’s interview with V103, Mase interrupted the interview with papers in hands. These papers would allegedly release him from his contract with Bad Boy records.

HipHopDx.com reports:

“In a video taped by Shuddup.com, Mase is recorded walking around the V103 studio armed with release papers explaining to the staff that they were “freedom papers” before walking in on Diddy and Dirty Money’s interview. He has the freedom to go do whatever he wants to do,” said Diddy after signing Mase’s papers. “People have felt like our situation, I may have stopped him or whatever. He can do whatever he want to do…Everybody’s crystal clear. If you want them Mase verses get ya hustle on right now.”

Mase was obviously overjoyed by the news. He had this to say:

“It took me ten years to get this paperwork right here,” Mase said in an interview. “I had to put this in UPS with a seal on it. I don’t even know what I’ma put out now. Oh my goodness. We good, we good. This is Mase, I got my official papers right here from Puff Daddy , it was love, so I guess we don’t have no problems after all. I don’t even know how to take that. I’m ain’t used to Puff doing good stuff.”

Well unfortunately for Mase, he didn’t do his homework. It was later revealed by radio personality Miss Info that the papers Mase signed were only release forms to record songs with other artists, not leave Bad Boy. So it seems like Mase is indeed still “Stuck Like Chuck” because he is still contractually obligated to Bad Boy Records and Diddy.

“UPDATE: Ok, so my insider tells me….that signature wasn’t on a contract release form…it was basically an appearance release form. Basically, Diddy is allowing Mase to appear on songs with other artists. He is not freeing Mase from his contractual obligations to Bad Boy. But this is a start, because Mase already has a big feature in the works, as well as a potential home at Interscope.….which would work out well in terms of those old contractual obligations because Diddy is already over at Interscope as well.”

Damn Mase, you were so close homie. Next time read the fine print on the pages!!! Neither has yet to further comment on this issue. Is it just me or does Diddy have major issues with releasing people from their contracts? I just don’t get it.  Hopefully Diddy will be on his Moses ish and Let His People Go!!!

Cormega Thinks Drake Is Just A ‘Spoiled Rich Kid”

Well there’s always one out of the bunch. Latest drama is surrounding Queens rapper Cormega who recently sat down and spoke with Street Disciplez Radio to voice his opinion about Drake. In the interview, Cormega had this to say:

“I can’t fuck with Drake, I like Drake, I like Drake as a young man trying to make money but I can’t take him serious,”

HipHopDx.com reports:

“The crux of Mega’s argument was his belief that Drake did not grow up with much adversity. “Number one, he’s rich. He’s rich man. I don’t like when these spoiled rich kids they just get into rap because it’s something they can do but they pops got money and they put ’em in the game and then they start rapping about something, a life they could never live.” Cormega continued, saying if he were in Drake’s position, he would have chosen a different profession. “Go do something else. I mean, shit, if I could switch with you, I would be the rich dude, the rich goody good my whole life. Niggas like us rap about sh*t because we lived it. These niggas use rap as a hobby.”

I mean I can respect Cormega’s feelings but we all know that he is no newbie when it comes to beef. He and Nas had a notable feud in the past. What I don’t understand is why people can’t just let others do what they do? In my opinion SouljaBoy is garbage but no one ever says anything about him not taking Hip-Hop seriously. I just don’t get it. Well they do say it gets lonely at the top.  Drake has yet to comment on this situation. We’ll see what happens!
