Music producer Jeffery “J. Dub” Walker, claims to have received news that an unreleased track that he produced for that late singer before her death will featured on her new album.

The song named ‘Steady Ground’ which also features the late singer / songwriter, Static Major, a close friend of Aaliyah, who wrote such hits as ‘More Than A Woman,’ and ‘Try Again’ for the late songstress, officially leaked online in 2009.

Many Aaliyah fans may recognize Walker as the mastermind behind such hits as ‘I Refuse’ and ‘I Can Be’ also featured on the singer’s self titled third album.

Hitmaker Timbaland, also confirmed that he recorded a catalog of tracks for the album, but only 15 made the cut, while only a handful of the others were featured on her posthumous greatest hits album.

The news is yet to be confirmed by Aaliyah’s record label Interscope / Blackground Records.
