Tony Yayo Weighs In on The Game and Jay-Z

New York, NY – When was the last time we seen Yayo or even heard any of his music? It seems as though he craves any spotlight on him whenever it does come around. Recently he spoke with MTV News about former G-Unit member, The Game, and discussed his apology stating that be believed it was all just a ploy. Yayo spoke on behalf of G-Unit and 50 claiming that they did not buy the apology and any chance of a reunion will never happen.

And again Yayo has been on MTV News talking about Game, it was probably in the same segment just broken into two pieces, either way his discussion is still on the former member. This time, however, he weighs in on Game taking major shots at Jay-Z. It has become apparent that Game has been dissing Hov in his shows overseas and wherever possible, according to Yayo it was a wrong choice.

These were Yayo’s comments to MTV News:

“Stupid move, it’s dumb. When I see guys like Jay-Z, 50 and Diddy, there’s no need for me [to beef with them]. They got too much money. Dudes got sniper money. You gotta chill, I chill. You gotta leave them kinda dudes alone. That’s how I look at it. I don’t know how other rappers look at it. These guys is worth hundreds of millions of dollars. 50, Eminem, Dre, Diddy — waste of time, man.”

In other news, it seems as though G-Unit has put together some kind of charity for their neighborhood of Queens, giving back to the community in a program 50 has dubbed ‘40 Day,’ named after the 40 projects. Yayo, Banks, 50, and Whoo Kid will take some days off and spend it with their hood providing bus rides to amusement parks and setting up picnic parties with great music, free food and visits from athletes, artists, and celebrities. According to Yayo, this will occur towards the end of August:

“It feels good, man. You hear a lot of hate. You hear, ‘G-Unit don’t give back to the ‘hood. They don’t do this. They need security.’ Nah. This is gonna show and prove to you they give back to the ‘hood. A lot of people focus on the negative, not the positive. Bring your kids, your grandmother — everything’s free.”

On the real, Yayo has a good point. The Game picked the wrong person to take shots at. I can understand publicity and creditability, but didn’t he praise Jay in the beginning his career. I could have sworn that verse he wrote in ‘West Side Story’ about Ja and not Jay, as he apparently stated he ‘doesn’t take shots at legends.’ So now Game is going back on his word? You be the Judge.

Fabolous to Release ‘Loso’s Way’ DVD Film and Album

New York, NY – Fabolous has taken his whole new album concept to new heights as the Def Jam artist now plans  to release a DVD film alongside his album with the same name. Apparently, it seems as ‘Loso’s Way,’ the studio album will be accompanied with a DVD when it hit selves next week in a separate deluxe edition.

Approximately two years after the release of the hit album ‘From Nothin’ to Somethin,’ Fabolous returns with his fifth studio album entitled ‘Loso’s Way’ inspired by the same idea by Jay-Z’s ‘American Gangster.’ The album was originally titled ‘Work Hard, Play Harder,’ but was later changed to be based on the film ‘Carlito’s Way’ made famous by veteran actor Al Pacino. The film included in the deluxe edition will be based a Crime, Drama genre with the screenplay revolving around a similar situation during his legal entanglements that he ensued in 2003 when he was being charged with illegal possession of a firearm after being shot in the leg, but from a fictional stand point leading into the plot. Loso plays a heavyweight artist who gets caught up in a situation with another rapper played by D-Block member, Styles P. The story then follows along the same path leading into a climatic ending.

The film will also feature appearances from Ed Lover, Swizz Beatz, Jadakiss, Ryan Leslie, Juelz Santana, Paul Cain, and Abel Back.

‘Loso’s Way’ was originally set for a June 30 release date, but Fabolous decided to push the date back in order to include an accompanied DVD film. The standard and deluxe edition has been set to be released on July 28. Keep posted to 24hourhiphop.com for an upcoming album review and film review of ‘Loso’s Way.’

I must admit, that was great from Fab’s standpoint. The artist is really trying to get into Hollywood by doing his own independent films starring a plethora of other artists. I’m curious to see how Swizz and Ryan exhibit their acting skills, cause on the real not all artists can act regardless if they think they can. Let’s see where Fab takes this idea and how his fans react to the deluxe edition.
