As previously reported, Plies took the stand earlier in the week to testify in a civil case that he was being sued for $10 million stemming from a 2006 shooting in Ganesville, Florida.

After 8 hours of deliberation, a jury found Plies found civilly liable the nightclub shooting. Although found guilty, Plies did catch a break as he did not have to shell out the $10 million the victims were seeking, but he will have to pay 200K.

Plies’ attorney addressed the guilty verdict, stating that the rapper would have had to pay out nearly 4 times as much money if they did not take the case to trial.
