Jayceon Terrell Taylor, known more popularly at “Game” entered into a not-guilty plea this past Monday. The charges… punching and threatening an off-duty Los Angeles police officer back in March of this year during a pick up basketball game.

He is being charged with one felony count of making criminal threats and a misdemeanor assault and battery charge over the alleged altercation.

Earlier this month, the accuser Officer Onyebuchi Awaji testified that Game threatened to kill him after punching him during the game after an intentional file. However Game is stating that he was only defending himself from Awaji after Awaji swung on him first and indicated that he had a gun in his gym bag.

The judge in this case ruled that there was enough evidence to for the rapper to stand trial.

At this time no trial date has been set.
