New York NY – Who would have thought that Trinidad James would even make it this far and from that one song that spawned off of a mixtape? ‘All Gold Everything’ has literally lit up the charts over the course of the past couple of months and has elevated James’ career to the top, even landing him a record deal with Def Jam Recordings. The Atlanta remix with T.I., Young Jeezy, and 2 Chainz has even gone on to receive further recognition. And of course, with a famous tune comes with it’s fairshare of comedic spoofs and parodies because of the topic and the delivery of the song. Apparently one comedic spoof stood out to James and was a hit in his eyes as he takes the entire notion all in stride.

The ‘All Gold Everything’ hitmaker recently spoke to MTV News as they inquired on how he felt about his song being mocked. These were his comments:

“The Justin Timberlake spoof, that was pretty much the dopest one. I liked it a lot.”

James made reference to to the comic sketch that Justin Timberlake performed on SNL whereby the pop star dressed up as a tofu and rapped about different health alternatives reciting “Don’t believe it taste great,” mimicking James’ flow.

“The veggie, veggie, veggie was a good spoof,” James added.

MTV News inquired if James’ would ever work with Timberlake in the near future:

“Definitely if we’re doing real music and not spoofs, I’ll definitely work with Justin. What kind of question is that? It’s like, ‘Do you love Jesus? Yeah, I love Jesus!'”

Wonder how that would sound?
