ABC News reported on a shocking story coming out of Conyers, Georgia. Two twin 16-year-old girls have been accused of allegedly murdering their own mother in cold blood.

Tasmiyah, “Tas,” and Jasmiyah, “Jas,” Whitehead are facing charges of malicious murder, felony murder and aggravated assault, which can carry a life sentence without parole.

Their mother Jarmecca “Nikki” Whitehead, a beautician who had recently gone back to school to study fashion design, was found inside her home brutally beaten and stabbed lying in a pool of blood back in January.

Her twins told authorities that they discovered her body when they came home from school. However they are now considered the main suspects in the case five months later because of conflicting statements and evidence that points to the twins.

Prior to Whitehead’s murder the twins were supposedly becoming increasingly violent and even had to stay with their great-grandmother because they were so out of control and could not be handled. She eventually got her girls back because she wanted a clean start.

Yet, police were called three times on the twins just one week before the murder! And their mother confided in a neighbor saying that she was afraid that something was going to happen and she was scared of her girls.

ABC News also reports that the girls tried to jump her one day when they were told that they couldn’t go out.

Tasmiyah and Jasmiyah Whitehead offered no apologies and weren’t surprised when arrested said police but they are maintaining their innocence.

Jarmecca Whitehead was considered to be a very sweet and loving person.

Very sad. We will keep you posted on any other news related to the case.
