Last night (December 8) America tuned in for its weekly dose of The X-Factor but what people didn't realize was how dramatic this episode would be. In the end, 13-year-old fan favorite Rachel Crow got voted off and made a heartbreaking exit.

Judge Nicole Scherzinger forced a deadlock that created a tie between Marcus Canty and Rachel Crow that could only be broken by America's votes. When it was announced that Crow was going home, she fell to the ground like someone took the life out of her and began sobbing. She was picked up by her mentor Simon Cowell, and consoled by her mother.

When she could finally speak, she was extremely grateful. "I just, I love you so much, everybody, for voting for me, even though you didn't. … Thank you for giving me this, because without you, I'm nothing. And I hope this is not my ending. You know what? I know it's not. And I will go so far, I promise you. And I love you."

The fact that she took the defeat so hard just shows how passionate she is about music. The girl's voice is a powerhouse and we know she will go on to be great beyond The X-Factor.
