Grand Hustle artist Young Dro has recently spoken out against allegations that Grand Hustle leader T.I. may have “snitched” to receive such a light jail sentence while he was facing felony gun charges. Artists such as 50 Cent, have previously accused the self proclaimed “King of the South” of being a snitch. However, not only does Dro deny those allegations, but he comes to T.I.’s defense saying that snitching is not is his character.

During a video via Vlad TV, Dro has this to say:

“That’s like my brother, I’ve known shawty for half my life,” Dro said. “50 [Cent] mean, but Tip ain’t
never done nothing like that. As far as snitching though, my partner
ain’t nothing nowhere near that bullsh*t and n*ggas know what’s up with
our team. Everybody got their little sh*t to say about that but we know
for a fact it ain’t nothing [where] we gotta go around like ‘He didn’t
do that, hey, you know he didn’t do that,’ it’s evident you know what
I’m saying? Shawty locked up in the jail right now — he’s ready to come
home. He’s ready to knock down the walls of Hollywood, make sure y’all
know the movie Takers is on the way, you gotta know the boy on the way
back home, you gotta know as far as all these false accusations — on
this side of
Grand Hustle, we getting rich. We making the sh*t known, this sh*t goes further…”

Next to rapping, G-Unit front runner 50 Cent is known for is ability to stir up some major controversy. In a recent interview with MTV UK, 50 claimed that he if was given the opportunity he would not only marry Beyonce, who is the wife of Hip-Hop mogul Jay-Z, but he’d also have unprotected sex with her. As for Lady Gaga and Rihanna, the controversial rapper says he wouldn’t mind adding them to the roster as well.

“I would kiss Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Rihanna,” he said in an interview when asked which he would kiss, marry and avoid amongst the threesome. “I would marry Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Rihanna in
Africa, I’d have 3 wives! And I would avoid wearing condoms and have
really big families! I think it’s hot [the ‘Telephone’ video]. But
there’s a shot in the video in the diner that’s just breasts. And it
looks great, but if I shot the same shot in my music video, they would
make me edit that immediately.”

None of the ladies have responded to 50’s comments.

Rah Digga Discusses Nicki Minaj

During an interview with All Hip Hop, Flipmode Squad’s former first lady Rah Digga, shared her thoughts on female rapper Nicki Minaj and the Hip-Hop movement as it relates to females. According to Digga,
Hip-Hop isn’t very welcoming when it comes to femcees and feels that
there just isn’t enough room for multiple female rappers to succeed at
the same time.

“I think she’s just one facet of it,” Digga said about Nicki taking hip-hop to the next level. “It’s unfortunate that with the females, it only gets to be one at a time. This year, it’s Nicki Minaj. At one point it was Remy [Ma]. At one point, it was [Lil] Kim.
To me, everybody just takes turns. I don’t look at one person and say
this is it for hip-hop. I think everybody brings all kind of different
things to hip-hop. As soon as I come, everybody’s like ‘this is the
real hip-hop!’ Whoever is poppin’ is where it’s poppin’. [Laughs] I
think it’s important for females to do as much together as we can. We
always say we wanna do stuff. And we might do some songs here and
there. But we’re not really coming together. And it doesn’t help that
soon as one of us puts a song out the public turns it into a diss song
towards the next chick. I think there are all sorts of lanes for
everybody. As long as chicks continue to do their thing and stand their
ground, they’ll be alright. With me, it just about rhyming.”

Does Digga make a good point; is there only room for one female rapper at a time?
