For the 4th year in a row, Grammy-Award Nominee Flo Rida is bringing his free, star-studded Gospel Explosion concert back to South Florida on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 3:00PM to the War Memorial Auditorium located at 800 NE 8th Street in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This annual event occurs during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend with the intended purpose of giving families a way to spend additional time together to fellowship, enjoy good music, tasty food, and have an all-around good time.
Each year this event brings out some of the top Gospel artists in the country including Mary Mary, Fred Hammond, Pastor Derrick Haddon, Yolanda Adams, Michelle Williams, and many others. This years is no different as the headliners include Award Winning Pastor Shirley Caesar and Tye Tribbett.
“Gospel music is soul stirring, it moves people, we are excited to bring The Gospel Explosion to South Florida during the Thanksgiving Weekend,” says event founder Flo Rida. “Inspiring words whether spoken or in song can make a world of difference in the life of a dreamer. I wouldn’t be where I am without them; this is just one of the many ways we want to inspire big dreams for the families in our community.”
Flo Rida is more than just an international recording artist, he is a philanthropist that founded the Big Dreams for Kids Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to instilling honesty, loyalty, integrity, sportsmanship, and a host of other qualities, along with creating a commitment to youth athletes through the FYFL youth football league. This free, family-friendly event is just one of the many ways he gives back to the community.
