The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Gucci was indicted after a soldier accused the artist of hitting him across the head with a champagne bottle at the Harlem Nights club in Atlanta in March. The victim told a local news station that Gucci attacked him while he was trying to speak to a security guard.

The victim apparently asked the guard for a photo with the rapper:

“I’m in the military. I wanted to get a picture with Gucci Mane, is it OK? I was speaking to the security guard, and Gucci Mane hit me in the head with a bottle.

Following the assault, the soldier stated that he received 10 stitches during his visit to a local hospital It was reported that Gucci turned himself in on March 26 and was initially denied bond. He was detained for two weeks while awaiting trial.

In related news, a similar incident occurred in Philadelphia whereby Gucci attacked another man by punching him in the jaw in a bar a couple nights later after the bottle incident with the soldier.

The second victim commented on his incident with the Atlanta emcee:

“I haven’t ever been so humiliated in my life and disrespected. He punched me on the left side of my face, right here in the jaw, knocking off my glasses.”

Seems as though Gucci is on a violent streak as of late.
