Label: Cash Money/ Universal

Review By: Jay Carter

Juvenile left, B.G. left, Turk
left and then Mannie Fresh and let’s not forget about
Katrina, but when it was all said and done it seems that Cash Money still the
company and Weezy the boss. The last two original members Lil Wayne & Birdman
are back with their first group album “Like Father, Like Son”. The
first single “Stunnin Like My Daddy” produced by Tmix
and “You Aint Know” produced by Scott Storch is
sure to turn disbeliever’s to believers. Plus with Lil Wayne lyrics and
Birdman swagger & style the combination makes a solid album. Also other
highlights on the album are “Don’t Die”, “Like Father,
Like Son”, “Know What I’m Doin” featuring Rick
Ross
and T Pain and “About All That” featuring
Fat Joe where Wayne spit lines like “ Young desperado
straight out the gravel/ I’m so bad my shadow chooses not to follow/ little
nigga weezy hit this bitch like Rocky Marciano”. Plus, with new Cash Money
addition like Brisco of Poe Boy Ent., it seems like their headed
in the right direction.
