Brisco

Street Album: Revenge

Label: Poe Boy Music Group

The Opa Locka Goon is a beast when it comes to the music that he releases on a regular basis, this artist is literally in the studio on a day by day basis and whenever he has the time to write and step to the mic. We’ve all known Brisco to stay current with his fans and the streets with dropping a mixtape every now and then just to keep the streets hype, this time around, the fiercer and angrier Brisco has released one powerful street album that has already created a huge buzz amongst the fans and the critics. ‘Revenge’ has been dubbed a certified classic, his lyricism atop of some interesting pivotal production has put the Opa Locka Goon on a warpath of destruction , literally eliminating everything in his way. Poe Boy must be utilizing Brisco as their secret weapon, cause this street album shows a real different side of the Opa Locka Goon, the world better be ready for ‘Street Medicine.’ If this is just the street album, I can imagine how the debut is going to sound.

With just a few features on this tape, Brisco takes his lyricism to a higher level, the difference is there. We’ve always known him to detail a story on his tracks, this time, the narration is clearer and the sound is amazing. This is the Brisco we’ve been anticipating. Revenge indeed, he always had the level where the anger was there, retaliation through lyrics is vivid through the tape. Tracks like ‘Revenge,’ ‘Game Room,’ ‘The Realest Shit I Wrote,’ and ‘Stunt’ detail different storylines that are pivotal, and those are just the first couple of tracks that lead into some more personal tracks that shows Brisco expressing his mind on many different levels.

In ‘Revenge,’ alone, his anger bleeds through the speakers as Billy Blue spits fiercely in Creole over an interesting beat. The dynamic duo literally murk this real personal track that s directed towards those individuals that caught Bris off guard. The production has matured impressively, proving that he can literally spit over anything. The talent shines through each individual track as he raps content that can vibe to and understand. We feel where he’s coming from as tracks like ‘Shit on Me’ and ‘A Goon’s Scripture’ express a certain amount of pain. If you didn’t know him before, you are going to know him now. And this is just the beginning; Brisco still has a whole arsenal of material set to amaze his fans on the forthcoming ‘Street Medicine’ that has been set to be released real soon and this time it’s official.

On the real though, the content that he incorporates on this street album puts him on a whole different level. People have already told me that this is the hottest tracks he’s ever released. You can sense the anger, frustration, and pain on the tape than the others he’s ever put out. The sound quality puts much emphasis on his pivotal lyrics that evident his thoughts and expressions. Poe Boy seriously has a monster on their hands that they are just waiting to let loose. The Opa Locka Goon is in serious full effect. Take my word for it, download the street album, the link is at the bottom.
