Artist Cee-Lo Green
Album: The Lady Killer
Label: Elektra
Always pushing the envelope musically since his days a member of Goodie Mob to to his solo projects. Not to mention teaming up with other artist/producers such as Jazze Pha for “Happy Hour“(which I’m sure many of you forgot about)or joining forces with Danger Mouse as Gnarls Barkley and creating out of the box hits such as “Crazy“, Cee Lo Green has always been determined to go left when everyone else was going right. Back working on his solo debut and making records that are far from what the rest of the music industry seems to be doing, Cee Lo strikes back with his first single “F**k You“. Cee Lo brings more of an 70’s & 80’s vibe with his album “The Lady Killer” which turned out perfect with records such as “Bright Lights Bigger City” and “Bodies” leading the way. Personal favorites like “Fool For You” featuring Phillip Bailey simply highlights Cee Lo‘s true talent that in my opinion get’s greatly over looked. So if you love “Good Music” with that old school feel to it this is the perfect album for you! Some more key tracks are “Please” featuring Selah Sue and “Old Fashioned“.
