Mixapes are a breath of fresh air for hip hop. They serve as an outlet for up and coming artists as well as just a break from all the commercial radio records as well. Being one of the top DJ’s in the mixtape game is not something that comes easy. You must be consistent, you must have exclusives and you must know what the people want to hear.

Canadian DJ Biggy Jiggy is fast on his way to that top spot as he meets all those requirements. His Exclusive Tunes series is on number 82, showing that he knows how to put in his work. All his tapes ride out from top to bottom and his latest addition to the series does not disappoint or tarnish the legacy at all, instead only adding to it.

This tape is 33 tracks deep with everything on it ranging from straight gangsta shit to smoother R&B cuts.  Biggy Jiggy sets the tape off with the Rick Ross banger, “Cigar Music 2” featuring The Game.  He keeps it rolling with another new cut from Apphlliates member Willie The Kid, then he shows his versatility. Jiggy throws on a little something for all the steppers and lets T-Pain’s “Every Girl” come in at track number three.

This mixtape features almost every hot artist in the game right now, from all areas of the country. I think this is one of Biggy Jiggy’s strengths is that he has diversity and doesn’t just focus on one region, something most mixtape DJ’s have built themselves and their whole brand on. Instead he trusts that the people just want to hear good music and won’t really worry about where the artist is from when their jamming in their whip. And he’s right.

Wayne, Busta, Drake, Sheek Louch, Fabolous, Ne-Yo, and even some niggas you never heard of before all make appearances on this tape.  It’s a serious all star line up that most mixtapes are not fuckin with these days.

Excellent track selection and a true sense of diversity for the sake of great music make this tape a standout. All the Exclusive Tunes tapes ride out but Jiggy really went in on this one.
