Mixtape: The Official Florida Classic Weekend 2K9

Between the Artists and the Tracks that this DJ has put together, it makes quite an interesting mixtape that suits the title immaculately. What better then to name a mixtape especially for the Florida Classic, an annual event for practically everyone? At the end of the day, O-Town has always got the Classic on lock. Almost half of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama can we seen flocking to this major event throughout the entire city.

O-Town’s own DJ Slym provides the works on this one as he went all out taking on full responsibility for both the hosting and the mixing. He has included some major names such as Gucci Mane, Lil Boosie, Usher, Snoop Dogg, Nicki Manaj, Lil Wayne, Young Money, Omarion, and Bobby Valentino. With all due respect to the ‘Florida’ Classic, he also added some well known names from throughout the State of Florida that can be recognized anywhere, they include Brisco to Billy Blue to Ballgreezy to Black Dada, Plies, Papa Duck, Bali, Ace Hood, and of course, T-Pain to Tay Dizm, these artists represent up and down the Florida Coast. With a mixture of club joints and new tracks, this collection is a tape that you can definitely bump to in the speakers of your ride, there’s no doubt about that. Some of his draft picks include ‘Black Shades,’ ‘Imma Zoe,’ to ‘Wasted,’ on which he provides the verses from both Wayne and Plies, and to ‘Gangsta Love,’ Snoop’s new joint featuring the vocal talents of Dream. Aside from all the promos and drop ads, this tape is definitely something you need to cop for yourself. Mr. Street Buzz seriously goes in on this one!
