After releasing his “So Far Gone” mixtape and capturing the world’s attention I definitely understand the reason to release it again for retail this time. But re-releasing with only 7 songs at the same price of an average album is what I don’t understand. Especially when the whole world already knows the first 4 records. A lot of music lover and critics including myself feel that Drake is the next big thing in music so why would it be hard for him to at least put 12 song on the LP with about 8 new songs compared to 3 such as “Go In“, “The Calm” and my personal favorite “Fear“. I personally know a few people who bought the album and thought that they had bought the wrong album because the CD stopped at 7 and went back to track 1 after. But I must say still with an album with only 7 songs “So Far Gone” maybe still be better then the average artist’s full length album at this time. Even though as a fan of Drake’s music I expected more from him and not just a quick fix album as the listeners and fans wait for the complete debut entitled “Thank Me Later“.
