                               Powered by  “All Things Go” Chicago‘s native G.o.D. Jewels caught my attention with his lead single and video, which lead me to check out his latest mixtape “Greatness Opens Doors”. An even though “All Things Go” seems to be a Chi-Town’s Anthem I had to give credit when it’s due. From the sample which actual mentions Chicago to the great images shown in the video not to mention the exclusive Bulls jackets. On “Greatness Opens Doors” G.o.D. Jewels takes listeners for a journey and tells his story. Some of his best work shows on “Open The Door” and my personal favorite “All Things Go” and “Close The Door“. But on records such as “Jesus Piece“, “Old Folks” and “Aqua Flow” Jewels seems to let down the listeners compared to the previous songs mentioned. An weirdly enough “Louboutin Blues” which is song that’s very similar to Miami,FL up and coming artist Ghostwridah single “Red Bottoms” produced by Don Cannon right down to the Jay-Z sample. Other highlights from this mixtape are “R.A.C.E.” and “Keeps You Running“.
