Artist: Jadakiss
Album: The Last Kiss
Label: Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam

Through the years Jadakiss has definitely made his presence felt with every album he’s dropped to every feature he’s been on but approaching this third solo album “The Last Kiss” I really didn’t feel the hype or preparation. I understand that Ross may have a very internet hyped beef with 50 Cent but I was looking forward to hearing about “The Last Kiss” before 50 Cent’s response and actions to “Mafia Music“. The first single “Who Run It” felt like the right warm up record but only made me want to hear a Jay-Z verse which never came. Behind that record was the Ne-Yo collaboration on “By My Side” which I really loved but seem to not take off at all and went totally ignored by the fans. I know when people listen to Jada they except that “Lox Music” but at the same time they want great music at the end of the day. No one can ever take away Kiss’s ability to spit with the best of them but they can point out that he has a  resume of no classic albums from start to finish. I definitely can vibe to “What If” but can’t help but to feel like it’s the Pt.2 to “Why” from his last album. Songs like “Can’t Stop Me“, “Grind Hard” featuring Mary J. Blidge  and “Something Else” with Young Jeezy keeps Kiss’s third solo in the must have CD list needless to say. And the listeners will have to respect two heavy weights like Kiss & Weezy on “Death Wish” to round out the album. Other key tracks are “Respect My Conglomerate” and “Rockin’ With The Best“.
