Definitely a rising star in my eyes Jazmine Sullivan is back with her new album “Love Me Back” after making the music industry take notice with her single “Lions, Tigers & Bears” which is definitely a personal favorite of and a classic record. On “Love Me Back“, Jazmine bases the project around the “Up’s & Down’s” in relationships that we all go through as humans. So on records like “10 Seconds” and “Get On My Nerves” which is a duet with Ne-Yo those records highlights the “Down’s” that I’m sure both the fellas and the ladies will be able to relate too. An as for the “Up’s” records such as “Excuse Me” and the incredible “Stuttering” showcase that side. I would of personally broke the album down into different parts similar to what Trey Songz recently did with his last album because the album does get a little overwhelming if your really not going through a bad relationship. But for what this alum lacks Sullivan makes it up with the well written “Famous“. On the record “Famous” which simply relates to anyone who has ever had a dream but then well in love with the being “Famous” part a little too much to the point it’s all you want for yourself more then actually achieve your goals to be successful. Some more key tracks would definitely have to be “Luv Back” and “Holding You Down(Going In Circles).
