Artist: Miguel
Album: All I Want Is You
Label: JIVE Records/Sony Entertainment

You always here the saying “Never Judge A Book By It’s Cover” and if with Miguel debuted album that statement truly comes to light. Not trying to be harsh but after hearing Miguel‘s first single “All I Want is You” Ft. J.Cole I was really blown away and expected a lot from his album after a record like that. But searching through “All I Want Is You” I really had a hard time finding another record that was better or even close to the first single. Outside of the first track which is a personal favorite of mine called “Sure Thing” which has a little Prince feel to it there’s not ouch else on the entire project that caught my ear. I think Miguel can definitely become a star and has what it takes as far as his vocals go but his lack of lyrical content really shows through out. Getting together with song writers such as a Rico Love, The Dream and Tank would have definitely made a difference on this album in my opinion. On songs like “Girls Like You” and “Vixen” highlights Miguel at his best though!
