Artist: Phatz
Mixtape: Dope Boi Phresh

In this game some artists do it for the “Money” and so do it for the “Love.” It’s usually those who do it for the “Love” who later become the most successful time after time. So at a time when mixtapes are the norm for every up and coming artist, still certain artists just stand out from the rest. So when mentioning standing out from the rest Carol City’s own Phatz has to be mentioned on that list. Forcing every listener and A&R to tune in after every record to freestyle off his latest mixtape “Dope Boi Phresh” (The Self Absorbed Mixtape). With a mixture of Swagger & Lyrical content, Phatz shows that Miami underground scene has still yet to be discovered as shown on “Nike Bootz” freestyle ft.Webbz to “Mafia Music” where Phatz addresses it all from haters to Ross with lines like “Hero was a CO/ but we still showed him love.” Being able to paint vivid paintings on “Born And Raised” and “Pain” Phatz tells out of towners about the other side of Miami that’s more “First 48” Reality Series compared to an MTV music video done on South Beach. Then he switches gears for a minute on “I Been Legend” and “Amazing” Ft. Kirby for the spitters to “What You Do” which I’m sure the ladies will love.

Other key tracks are “This Is The Life” ft Gary Adams and “La, La, La” ft Fly Boi.
