Artist: Supreme
Mixtape: Fuck Nigga Free Volume I
Hosted by DJ Shorty T
The explicit title to the mixtape puts much emphasis on the messages that the artist is trying to put across to his fans. Mr. I Just Wanna himself, Supreme, has always had a way with words when it came down to the actually composition of the song and yet with every track you get an idea of what he is trying to detail. It is quite obvious that he does not hold back, this mixtape meshes with several others just to prove a point. Interestingly enough, even with some local and major features, Supreme seems to still make his presence felt quite well.
With a mixture of industry beats and original beats atop some interesting freestyles, it all comes together for one sole purpose, showcasing his artistic value. Supreme has incorporated his own collection of heavy-hitting production right from within his own circle. The beats he chose to fill this one mixtape meshes right well with his persona. Now with the constant material that this artist continues to release, there is no doubt that his lyrics lash out on higher levels and proves that he has a lot to say and nothing is going to hold his tongue from saying so. Even with the names that he has chosen to go in with him on the mixtape, it goes without saying that he’s not alone in this whole charade of being essentially, ‘Fuck Nigga Free,’ in his vulgar, yet subtle words. Tracks like: ‘Gotta Eat’ ‘I Just Wanna,’ ‘These Niggas Bitches,’ Smoke Blunts,’ and ‘Gucci Swag’ prove a serious point. Even with the track ‘Groupie,’ which has no features, is a banger in its own rite, the names he has solely mentioned in the track puts him in many different circles. Aside from all the features, his freestyles alone sets him apart from a lot of other upcoming artists, trust.
On the real, if you are looking for real Miami gritty and gutter music, no need to look no further as Supreme as provided just that, a collection of tracks that literally do not hold back. Despite what others may say, ‘Fuck Nigga Free’ suits the purpose he is trying to point across. Props to those who are backing this talented artist! As of now, we await the next street album ‘No Pressure.’
