Once the recording was leaked the NBA officially Banned the Clipper’s owner and fined him 2.5 million.

Several interests has been shown to purchase the team but no official bids. Microsoft CEO has placed a $2 billion bid on the Clippers tean to gain ownership. The NBA has approved the bid and is currently pending approval.
