It’s a new day in Chopper City for Hip-Hop artist Christopher “B.G.” Dorsey. You may remember him as one of Cash Money Millionaire’s, Hot Boyz, but there has been a lot going on from then to now. From the drug addiction, to the departure of Cash Money Records, after over five years, B.G. goes against all odds, working hard to uphold being one of New Orleans finest MC’s.  Even through all the speculation of there being a ‘fall-out’ between him and his Record label, he still holds a place in his heart for Cash Money.

“That’s gone always be a part of me [Cash Money] that’s where I started at. That’s one of the reasons I’m at where I’m at, this day. So when I left and started Chopper City it showed that I can stand on my own two feet. I shocked a lot of people man, but the streets kept fuckin’ with me- they kept supporting me, they kept me relevant. So I do it for the streets.”

After over 13 years in the game, he’s been staying busy perfecting his craft letting nothing stop his hustle.  With upcoming single featuring Juvenile, Lil Wayne and Trey Songz; new album, “Too Hood For Hollywood” and his new upcoming artist group, Chopper City Boyz, it’s clear that he has been keeping his movement, moving.

We asked B.G. how he felt about working with Lil’ Wayne and Juvenile after all these years, he said, “I wasn’t in no rush to do it. This was the first Hot Boyz record in maybe 4-5 years. So we were Hot Boyz then, we’re Hot Men now.  The people been wanting it, the streets have been asking for it and, I think Hip Hop can appreciate it. So it’s like the timing was right.”

B.G. also addressed rumors of him having problems with his fellow Hot Boyz, he added,“We never really had problems amongst each other as a group. It just was some of the business shit that was fucked up.”

When asked if there is ANYTHING he would really want people to know, he genuinely stated, “I appreciate everybody that hung in there with me and rolled with a nigga since day one up until now. I ain’t gone let my fans down, I’ma keep it real by all means necessary. New album coming October/ November, Chopper City Boyz coming out September 16th. In 08’, in with the real and out with the fake, in 09’ we grind and shine and in 2010, we gone do it again! Tomorrow’s a mystery, yesterday is history, ya heard me.”

We hear you B.G.! Keep pushing and grinding it out.
