24: How did your new album end up being a
collaborative effort between Lil Jon and 50 Cent?

Lil Scrappy: Well you know I have Violator management
and Chris Lighty also manages 50 Cent as well, but one day I had got into some
drama and got hurt and 50 Cent called me out of the blue and gave me some encouraging
words and nobody else had called me. So when I got back on my feet and it was
time for me to start recording my album, I hit him (50 Cent) up and was like we
need to make a situation. He told me it was a go. I fuck with you already and
you are already an established artist so it’s not much I will have to do.
Then we spoke to Lil Jon and it was handled.

24: What’s the name of the new album
and what producers did you work with outside of the Lil Jon production?

Lil Scrappy: The album name is “Breed
To Die Born To Live” and production wise Lil Jon did about 85 % because
he the boss but I got Jazze Pha, Drum Squad, Sha Money XL, and Slim Shady to
name a few.

24: How different is it when working with
Lil Jon compared to working with 50 Cent?

Lil Scrappy: Both have a good work ethic but
Lil Jon mostly sticks to doing beats and 50 Cent is more of an artist so they
have to separate ways of looking at things so for me it was the best of both
worlds and I learned a lot from those two.

24: What have you learned from your last
album that will help you make this album even more successful?

Lil Scrappy: We’ll really I never had
an album. The last one was more of a compilation with Lil Scrappy and Trillville.
On this new album I feel like I gave everybody a well-rounded album.

24: How did you get signed with Lil Jon
and BME?

Lil Scrappy: Just doing a whole bunch of shows
and having my songs on the radio. I was hot underground wise and Lil Jon came
to a show to see Trillville and saw my performance and the rest is history.

24: You have your first single out “Money
In The Bank” featuring Young Buck when can your fans expect the album
out in stores?

Lil Scrappy: “Breed To Live Born To Die”
will be in stores December 5. Go get that. I worked hard on this album.

24: What’s been going on with G’s
Up?

Lil Scrappy: Working on a new mixtape with
Cannon and doing everything we can to make my album pop and be successful, and
I also have my mixtape Cannon titled “Expect The Unexpected.”

24: Other than the new album coming out
soon what else do you have going on?

Lil Scrappy: I got a DVD coming out and the
group Crime Mobb is signed to my label G’s Up Inc. They have their new
single out “Rock Yo Hips” featuring Lil Scrappy of course, so support
that plus the video will be soon to follow.

24: Any last words?
Lil Scrappy: Tell everybody be more real then
hard. It’s always better to show the love, hard people die first and keep
it real. Album in stores December 5.
