24: You always come back with big records every time your ready to drop your album and you and Lil Wayne seem to have this great chemistry so talk about that?

Lloyd: Thank you, Thank you man. I just try to get into the studio and create the best music possible. As far as Wayne and me he’s the same way he’s always in the studio or doing shows. We both just want to make sure each record can be bigger than the last one, thats the mentality before a record.

24: How does this album  “Lessons In Love” differ from “Street Love”?

Lloyd: I would say on this its more about me helping the fellas how to treat a woman again because it seems we forgot a little for what ever reason. On Street Love I was letting the ladies know I love be I still have a street side to me so I might be out with the goons at the club but I’ll come home and make love to her at the same time.

24: Your first single “Girls All Around The World” seem to just take off soon as it was released so did you think it was going to get that good of a response?

Lloyd: That’s the fans man, that’s the DJs. I thought it was a good record and thought we did justice to the sample. Personally I felt like we needed to bring something new to it with a twist because that sample is so well know by Hip Hop heads and we accomplished that.

24: Trey Songz recently cut off his braids so do you see yourself getting the itch to do the same?

Lloyd: I saw that man, but I don’t think I’ll be going down that lane for a long time. Long hair don’t care(lol)!

24: You got together with The Dream for your second single so tell me what was it like working with him?

Lloyd: It was blessing. The record is called “I Need Love” and its crazy the video should be coming soon and I hope the people support that because I love that record and I think the people will too. Dream came in and did exactly what he does that has him right now as one of the best song writers in the game hands down.

24: You also have your own label so tell me what made you decide to start a label?

Lloyd: I have a artist by the name of Cris Reynolds right now besides myself because it was more of me getting my business together. Me becoming a man starting my own company. Doing my own album and turing it in to the label when its ready etc. In this game is you don’t go hard you wont last.

24: What’s your Label called?

Lloyd: It’s called Young Goldie.

24: I know the ladies love you when your on the female type of records but the guys feel you when your on those hooks for Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, 8Ball & MJG which is a classic record hands down and T.I. with Willie Da Kid from Off of the DJ DRama album?

Lloyd: I try to make sure I do both and show people that I’m a real person that goes through different thing and can do different things as an artist.

24: I’m sure the ladies want to know if your touring this Summer/Fall and are you single?

Lloyd: Yes and Yes. So be on the look out for all updates about the Tour and make sure you get your tickets.

24: Any finals words for the readers?

Lloyd: For all the update keep up with the Myspace page (www.myspace.com/lloyd) and look out for the new video, single and if you don’t have the album yet pick it pick. Peace Up A-Town Down!
