24: Coming into dropping your third album this September what should the fans expect from this album “80’s Babies”?

Baby Blu: Definitely, growth as the group goes on we have no choice but to get better and basically its a continuation to the first and second album. On the first album we was the hot boys fresh out of high school with all of the females. Second album we were all in college and on this third album we have responsibilities we getting married, we cuddling up things like that were knocking boots baby.

24: Who did you guys work with on this album as far as production goes?

Baby Blu: We in-House for everything on this album we done all of our writing and production. The production team is call Music Royale Production.

24: A lot of people may have felt like Pretty Ricky wouldn’t be the same without Pleasure P but judging by your first single “Cuddle Up” it seems like you guys just picked where you left off and haven’t missed a beat?

Baby Blu: As time go on you have no choice but to get better and were perfecting our craft thats all.

Slickem: We appreciate it too man.

24: I know you guys get a lot of comparison to being the new younger version of Jodeci so is that what lead you guys to remaking “Knockin Boots 08” and when will the video be dropping because I saw the video teaser?

Baby Blu: It wasn’t so much that but of course we appreciate and respect all of the comparison to those guys who are one of the greatest groups of all time. The whole album is really paying homage to all of the artist from the 80’s and “Knockin Boots 08” is just one of the records we tried to do in a old school fashion as well as the whole album dropping September.23.

24: When should the fans expect the video for that because I know you guys have the video teaser out for that right now?

Baby Blu: You can go to www.prettyricky.com right now and see all the info and exact date the video will be out.

24: This question is for 4 Play did you feel any pressure at all joining the group after two successful albums and replacing someone like Pleasure P who the fans of the group grew to love?

Baby Blu: 4 Play don’t talk, he only do one thing and thats sing. That boy is a monster/beast of these records if you want him to sing he’ll sing.

24: What would you say has been the keys to you guys staying consistent  in todays music industry which is very hard to do?

Baby Blu: Number by just always having hot records and and catering to our fans. We don’t even like to say fans we call them “Super Stars” because were there fans/groupies because we’ll do anything for them. A lot of theses artist they get caught up into the hype and forget that all of this shit is just make believe, we regular people just like everybody else. But they get caught up in that shit and they forget that and they start to up they nose up to niggas and they don’t want to get on the phone and do interviews no more you know what I’m saying. This is our life right here this is all we got this is what we do for a living. When ever you need us just holla at us or Brain and were there.

24: Years from now when you guys decide to step away from the stage what you you want the fans to say Pretty Ricky brought to the music world?

Baby Blu: Just some hot records that will last through time thats all. Thats all them Pretty Ricky boys do it aint about money it aint about nothing. Its about making songs that the ladies can relate too but at the same time for all ages.

24: For all of the ladies out there who has never been to a Pretty Ricky show what should they expect to see?

Spectacular: Basically, hot energy, Sex appeal were strictly for the ladies. Plus 4 play is a showman and adds another dimension to the group so ladies you do not want to miss that.

24: What’s next in line for Pretty Ricky and Blue Star Entertainment outside of this album?

Spectacular: We have our group Butta Creme thats on our new single called “Cuddle Up” they next.

Baby Blu: There straight out of the hood long hair down to the bottom of their booty type chicks and thats what the games missing right now real R&B groups.
