24: How did you link up with Gucci Mane which lead you to signing to his label Brick Squad?

Waka Flocka Flame: I met Gucci Mane through his old manager Debra Antey, that’s my biological mother.

24: How would you describe your sound and style?

Waka Flocka Flame: I describe my sound and my style 100% Juaquin James Malphurs(that’s me)! I would describe it as one of the realest in the game right now.

24: What should the fans be expect from your new album Flockaveli dropping Oct.5?

Waka Flocka Flame: That Flocka Music! They know how I’m rocking, I got my own genre of music.

24: Who were some of the artist and producers you worked with for the project?

Waka Flocka Flame: I got my own label Brick Squad Monopoly and I have my whole camp on my album. I also have Lex Luger and South Side on my whole album. I kept it “Family”.

24: What advice would you give to other up and coming trying to get into the game from your experience so far?

Waka Flocka Flame: I’ll tell them don’t let anyone else judge your music as long as your friends and your fan base love it, keep doing it and your going to be a great at what your doing.

24: What should everyone be on the look out for from you outside of your album with 2010 coming to a close and 2011 right around the corner?

Waka Flocka Flame: Look out for these two movies with myself, Gucci Mane and Master P called “Trap Top” & “Repo Man Pt.2“. Also be looking out for that Brick Squad album with myself, Gucci, Juice, Wooh and Frenchie.

24: Will you be performing at the 2010 Hip-Hop BET Awards?

Waka Flocka Flame: You got to know that, you got to know that I’m nominated for two awards.
