Celebreality Whiteboy  has made appearances on both first seasons of Vh1’s ‘I Love New York’ and  ‘I Love Money.’  After being eliminated, the miami native returned home to his infamous family owned pawn shop and the trilla streets of South Miami. Though he has a busy schedule I managed to get up with Whiteboy to discuss life on and after both reality shows.

24: What made you want to appear on the first season of ‘I Love New York’?

Whiteboy: Ultimately 51 Minds Entertainment, which is the production company that produced the show, stepped to me about it but wouldn’t tell me who, they weren’t like New York from Flavor of Love has her own show. They said it was a female and gave me the low down but they didn’t out right say it was New York. So a lot of people think I went on the show because I was attracted to her but they never told us who the female was until we were at the house. But I think if I knew I still would’ve done it anyway.

24: Did you actually have feelings for New York at any period during the show?

Whiteboy: A lot of people ask me this question and the best way I can answer is if you see this person everyday, day in and day out, your living in a house with them and the volume of dudes is getting lower and lower because people are getting eliminated , ultimately you grow feelings because she’s the only one you see. Besides production she was the only one in my eyes, there aren’t any other females, I had no communication with the outside world. I didn’t have my blackberry, TV, or my laptop…just New York. In the beginning I didn’t but towards the end, yeah I did grow feelings for her.

24: As far as beef with the guys in the house, what about you and Tango? You got into it more than once on the show, did you ever get the chance to reconcile?

Whiteboy: To be honest with you, I haven’t seen buddy since we left the set. I don’t have his number and he ain’t from my hood. I don’t know him so when we left the set we left it at that. I felt like he was a busta and I had to put him in his place. That was a few years back maybe he’s a better person but I don’t know I haven’t seen him, I don’t know where he hang at or where he be… I kinda forgot what he look like.

24: Since ‘I Love New York’, have you met that special person yet?

Whiteboy: I’ve met a few people but I’m still single. So no, I haven’t met that special someone yet.

24: There’s some footage of you and Chance being mobbed by a crowd in Miami, what happened?

Whiteboy: I think it was 99 jamz, Big Lip Bandit, Supa Cindy and Benji Brown had a big event for some middle school kids and we came through just to do a guest appearance. This was when the first show had just recently aired and my boy kinda hung around and I was out of there…I was gone.

24: How did you feel about losing on the first season of ‘I love Money’?

Whiteboy: I mean anybody would be pissed, that was a two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. I mean I’m not gone act petty about it and sit here and stress that but that was a quarter of a million dollars, so I was pissed.

24: What was the biggest challenge of ‘I Love Money’?

Whiteboy: People don’t realize, that was a physical and mental challenge game show. There was mental, strategic game plans and ways to actually win that show. It was more mental than it was physical for me, I think the hardest shit was dealing wit these fake muthafuckas and conniving ass females running around the house. It took a loss for me but ultimately it was the mental challenge, physically I was good but that mental challenge was tough I ain’t gone lie.

24: There was much buzz about your love triangle with Hoopz and Real, what’s up with your relationship with Hoopz?

Whiteboy: We just friends, that’s my homie she’s cool as fuck.

24: What was up with you and Megan did you guys actually have a sexual relationship?

Whiteboy: We were definitely active. She’s cool as fuck…Megan’s my dawg. Shouts out to Hoopz and Megan.

24: Its known that you and Trick Daddy have been long time associates, how did you guys become friends?

Whiteboy: In 1988, my father opened up a pawn shop in Cutler Ridge. I went to Miami Killian High …my father’s pawn shop was down the block, a lot of the stomping grounds where Trick was runnin through. Real recognized real and we started fuckin wit each other. Its been like twelve years now that I been fuckin wit Trick. Its not just Trick though, I fuck wit a lot of people…Pit, the Marley’s, they all from down here. I fuck wit a lot of artists out there. But Trick did put me down with the production company, 51 Minds Entertainment, which is the company I’m signed to. Trick was fuckin wit them first and then he put me on, that’s how I got on I Love New York. I fucks wit Trick heavy, that’s my dawg, I hold him down no matter what.

24: After all the fame that both reality shows have given you, how is life after?

Whiteboy: I played my part and I was the realist muthafucker out of the two shows I did so when I left the set real recognize real and they love me. It wasn’t like there was no harassment and shit, Ima real muthafucka so the streets show me a lot of love. I had no negative feedback from being on the show, it was all love. I’m no Hollywood ass muthafucka, if someone wants to take a picture or a girl wants a hug, I‘m for that I don’t think I’m too good to stop and say hi or answer questions.

24: How is business at your family owned pawn shop, cash dome? That’s where you primarily reside when your not on TV right?

Whiteboy: In 1988, my father opened up that pawn shop and its been there ever since. Its family owned and operated, my father taught me everything I know. Basically its recession proof, it’s a pawn shop.. business is great. I ain’t trying to front or nothing but a pawn shop can survive through a recession, its not like we slowed down we’re always busy.

24: Do you have or plan on having any roles in future reality shows?

Whiteboy: Absolutely, I got a lot of things coming. I cant really get into details but definitely.

Much love to VH1’s celebreality Whiteboy, look out for him on upcoming shows and check him out on his Facebook page (Joshua Whiteboy Gallander) or myspace.com/whiteboyjb.
