24: What have you been up to lately?

Yung Berg: Working on my album, doing shows and my new
mixtape.

24: Did you think your single “Sexy Lady” was going to take
off like it did?

Yung Berg: I knew it could be big but it ended up going to
#1. When I did it in the studio we thought it was going to bang in the clubs
but not the whole US.

24: Were you disappointed when you put out your EP album
after the success of your single and sold 24,500 in its first week?

Yung Berg: I personally thought it was going to do at least
150,000 because of the response I was getting but the numbers shows other wise.
In this business you just never know, so you can only keep making hits.

24: I think when people hear about an album having low sales
they seem to think the album was not good which wasn’t the case with you, so do
you feel the fans missed out on a good album?

Yung Berg: It was the EP, but yeah I do. I had quality songs
like “Almost Famous”, “Where Do We Go” featuring Twista, and “Painkiller” on
their and that got over looked because of the sales to date.

24: Do you feel any pressure from the fans or even the label
to make a song that’s bigger then “Sexy Lady” for your official album when it
drops?

Yung Berg: I would be lying if I said no, but if I can’t top
my last I would not be a real artist. Kanye had to out do “All Falls Down” and
“Through The Wire” with “Gold Digger” and “Diamonds Are Forever”, Jeezy out did
“And Then What” and “Soul Survivor” and gave the people “I Luv It” and “Go Getta”!

24: I feel you, but I would still feel the pressure with the
buzz having to be built up again and people feeling like you only had one song
because the second single was the “Sexy Lady remix”?

Yung Berg: To be successful you have to grind and be able to
handle the pressure that comes with it. I got signed to DMX when I was 14 so I
know once the music start speaking for itself the rest will be history in my
eyes.

24: Coming from Chi-Town how do you feel about the music
that’s coming out?

Yung Berg: I’m not happy with the Twista situation with
Atlantic, but Kanye, Common, Lupe are in a good space and bring home the
championship for the city and I hope to join them real soon
