Akon Konvict’s Lil Kim?

This is one I think only a handful of people are hoping comes true. Lil Kim has been pretty much nothing more than a tabloid article for the past 5 years or so. Ever since her prison stint she has done nothing but be in the news for plastic surgeries and lame dancing reality shows. It came out this week though that maybe, just maybe, things might be looking in the direction her nose is pointing, up!

Akon recently did a show with his entire Konvict Muzik crew and he brought on a surprise guest to the stage. Yep you guessed it, the female Michael Jackson, a.k.a. Lil Kim. Akon brought out the tiny rapper with the melting face and let the crowd know he was a big Kim fan and even wanted to sign her to his label, to which of course got huge cheers from the audience. Kim didn’t say much just smiling and looking weird, but hey I guess that’s what she does! I did a little more research and found out that Akon and Kim have been in talks for some time but have never brought the discussion to the next level, but since this announcement they plan on really sitting down and figuring out what needs to be done to make it a reality.

Kim needs this. She needs a lot of things but this would definitely be a good look for her. I can’t say I’m the biggest Kim fan in the world but I also have a penis, so maybe that has something to do with it. In any case let’s just hope somebody gets through to her to stop all that damn surgery and getting on stupid dance show contests. I know times are hard out here but damn Kim.

The Clipse Breaking Up?

The Re-Up Gang, composed of The Clipse, Sandman and Ab-Liva recently took a hit when The Sandman announced he was departing from the group and going on his solo way. While it was a loss most maintained that the group and especially The Clipse overall would be okay. However now I am getting some very worrisome news that maybe the Thornton twins are going through some creative strife themselves.

The Clipse have been recording their next album, ‘Till The Casket Drops’, since the beginning of the year. Some say the music is coming out good, but slow. So why the hold up? People close to the group say the two brothers want to go in different directions. I am hearing that Pusha T is focusing more on radio hits and is more willing to play by the industry rules and dumb it down to get a few more spins this time around. However Malice is apparently not with that shit at all and wants to keep coming with the lyrical coke raps that made them world famous through mixtapes and internet releases. This difference in agendas is leading to more than musical problems and some say it is becoming so bad that The Clipse refuse to even record together anymore and it is looking like a breakup. Word is the album is due to the label in less than a month and they are not even 25% done with the record.

Damn. I hope this is just hear say and The Clipse are as well as ever. Those really are two of the best MC’s in the game right now, damn MTV’s list! Do you think Pusha or Malice would be better off solo?

T.I. Having 7th Kid?

This is one that requires absolutely NO stretch of the imagination. T.I. is well known to be one of the best rappers in the game. He is also the proud father of 6 children. Apparently the Rubber Band Man isn’t so fond of all rubbers it appears. Well anyway it is coming out of various sources that T.I. and his longtime girlfriend, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, are expecting yet another addition to the Harris family.

T.I. has taken Tiny on his 12 city Farewell tour across the country and that is where the whispers first started. Tip has reportedly been very protective of Tiny and has let his handlers know that she is pregnant and to keep an extra eye on her so that no accidental bumps, shoves, or any kind of injury comes her way. Tiny and T.I. have already suffered through one miscarriage together and obviously I am hearing that Tip is terrified of this happening again.

Hey I guess this is good news right. Any addition to the family is welcome I suppose, especially when you got bread. All I know is you can say what you want, but from what I have seen T.I. is an awesome dad and a great guy. But damn 7 kids? Why not round out the bunch and make it an even 10?
