Akon’s Secret Kid?

Rappers having a million kids is nothing new. However usually they know about them at least! It looks like hit maker Akon got a big surprise recently when he found out that he had a newborn child that he didn’t even know was on the way.

Apparently Akon hooked up with Sara Coleman a California resident some 10 months ago. Well I guess it was a short lived hook up because after that Akon continued on doing his thing without even realizing Sara was with child. However after Sara told him about his child he had the paternity test and it check out. However Coleman’s lawyers say they now have not been able to find Akon in order to serve with him with court documents ordering him to appear in family court. Word is they even went looking for dude at Michael’s recent memorial!

Akon’s lawyers have released a statement however refuting these claims.

“Akon has taken responsibility and has been extremely cooperative and proactive in handling this private matter. Paternity was only established just over 30 days ago. Since the case was filed outside of Georgia jurisdiction, where he is a legal resident, Akon is currently in the process of engaging counsel in California and will continue to handle this matter in a timely manner.”

Wrap it up kids and rappers. We’ll have to see where this one goes…

Eminem Goes Southern?

Boy these labels never seem to amaze me. Eminem has long been known as one of the greats in the game. However there has been reports coming out that his label Interscope has been pressuring him to try new things in order to make the release of his upcoming Relapse 2 even bigger than it’s predecessor. One of the things that has been suggested to Em is working with some southern artists to get that down south love as well.

I am hearing Em has been approached about this several times but so far won’t budge, big surprise there right? The label wants him to make songs with southern artists but if not that then at least do some remixes with southern artists on them. I hear Em just isn’t feeling it at all and doesn’t think the people would buy into it.

I agree. Don’t do this Marshall, it only takes one corny move to tarnish your legacy forever…

Kelis To Write Tell Book About Nas?

Well of course, what else could of come next? In the midst of their ongoing divorce and public airing out of financial records it is being whispered that Kelis plans to hammer that final nail in her career’s coffin and write a tell all book about her marriage with Nas.

While there have been many back and forth reports about these two this latest tidbit comes out after Nas recently refuted Kelis’ claims that he has more money than he really does and also that he was a constant cheater during their marriage. Well now Kelis wants to detail all of the fuckery that went on in their marriage through the form of a book and let the world know she was in fact telling the truth. Oh and yeah she would get broke off as well, let’s not forget that little part.

This would just be wack on all sides. Kelis needs to chill in my opinion and stop spending $80,000 a month and you won’t have to worry about all what he’s making. The book would only bind you to Nas forever and your never going to be known as an artist again, but just a rapper’s spiteful baby mama. But then again hey maybe BET will give her a show…
