Cam’Ron Extorting Jim Jones?

Former Dipset leaders Jim Jones and Cam’Ron have both been making their own moves recently. Jones has his kind of old hit “Pop Champagne” still going on, and Cam has been releasing a series of web videos and even scored a XXL cover to hype up his upcoming album.  It is also no secret though that there is much tension between the entire Dipset crew which has caused many members to go off on their own and form different branches of the Dipset with equally ridiculous names, i.e. Byrd Gang, Purple City, etc.

It came out a few months ago that Cam’Ron, who is the actual CEO and owner of The Diplomats, sold Juelz Santana’s contract to Def Jam for 2 million. Now it is coming out that he is trying to pull a similar move on his former capo Jim Jones, only this time he is looking for  a much bigger pay day. Word is that Jones is desperate to get out of his deal with Cam before his new album, Pray V Reign, is released and he has been going back and forth with Killa on the specifics of how he can be on his own. Cam’s answer…? Just a cool 10 million.

10 million is the price insiders are saying Cam is telling Jim he has to cough up if he really wants to be a free man and eat properly off his album and single sales. Remember that since Cam owns Diplomats he therefore owns Jim Jones and will continue to eat off of everything Jones will ever put out, probably even more than Jones himself.

I doubt Jones has 10 M’s he can give up just like that.  Looks like he’ll be on Killa Cam’s plantation for a little bit longer.  And damn I always thought Cam was dumb with all them wack ass rhymes he was spittin…Who woulda known?

Suge Knight Looking To Sue?

I must say I hate to kick a man when he’s down, but this is too funny. Suge done got knocked the fuck out! Again. This time it was by a fellow industry executive, Robert Carnes Jr, who is actually Akon’s manager. By now you know the story so I won’t waste the time but I am getting some intel that is suggesting the story may not be all that it seems…

Last year Knight pressed a suit against Kanye West after he caught a fresh one at a party Kanye was hosting in Miami.  He sued Ye’ for hospital bills and the loss of a diamond earring he lost in the fight. Well, now people are suggesting that what happened this past weekend was no random incident. Knight was actually looking for a fight and maybe a little injury to go along with it so he can catch another juicy lawsuit! It’s no secret his paper game is screwed up as he has been in bankruptcy for like the past half a decade.  People are saying Knight specifically targeted someone he knew was doing well in the business that he could get something out of to help some cash flow come in.

I must say if this is true, this is pathetic. A former tough guy taking public beat downs just to collect a check? So far Carnes Jr. is still in the slammer and has not made a statement, but witnesses are confirming that it was indeed Suge who seemed to start the fight by putting his hands on Carnes first. Damn Suge, what a fall from grace. Or was it infamy…?

Scott Storch Off To Jail?

Here’s our old buddy Scott Storch popping up in the news again!  And of course it’s not good news. Storch’s money and tax problems have not magically disappeared as the news coverage around them has. The government and court systems’ attention span is much longer and more focused than the blogging public and it is coming out that they are coming to collect from Storch, or else…

Storch has long been in a custody and child support battle with both of his baby mama’s and now it is being said that he is so backed up on payments for his youngest daughter that he is facing immediate jail time. 180 days could be his next vacation if Storch doesn’t come up with the woman’s bread in double time. People are saying that he owes a little over $20,000 but yet he can’t even come up with half.

Damn homie.  I don’t get it. Why can’t this guy just make hit records anymore? You were on a roll my man. Hopefully this guy can get it together before this rumor turns into news.
