With the LAkers trying to make a run for another world championship this 2010-2011 NBA Season the Lakers GM and ownership has started trade talks with the Denver Nuggets. By now all NBA fans are aware that Carmelo Anothony has been  on the trading block since he did not sign his extension with the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets can either keep him fir the entire season and loose him as a free agent in the off season or get something in return and trade him before the end of February. The Rumors first started talks of Carmelo Anthony going to play for the Knicks which was one of the teams Melo himself said he would sign a trade agreement with(Melo was actually born in Brooklyn,NY and would live to play in New York once again)but after the Knicks refusing to give up about four players for only Carmelo that deal never panned out. Then came along the New Jersey Nets deal which was short lived. But with the deadline coming up within a few weeks the World Champion Lakers has been making headline news about a possible deal that would team up Kobe & Gasol alongside forward Carmelo Anthony and would send Center Andrew Bynum to Denver. So far Rumors has been circulating and the word us that Carmelo would love to be able to play with Kobe once agin and we all saw the results of that tandem during the Mens USA BasketBall. The Denver Nuggets who seem to be on the verge of rebuilding would love to start their Franchise with a center piece such as Bynum. The Lakers would lose a talented big man which is hard to come by these days that might play more into the favor of the Spurs in a Western Conference Finals or the Celtics once again the Finals. But on the up side to a Carmelo Anthony trade is now Kobe can actually get some rest and take some of the load that’s been on his shoulders all season long. Kobe Bryant will turn 33 in Aug and getting another super star who’s a Top 10 player in the NBA will definitely allow Kobe heal and finally get surgery done on his hampering finger injury. Not to mention matching up perfectly against the Miami Heats Big 3 with Kobe, Carmelo and Gasol! An for the Lakers fans that think it’s a bad trade overall let’s not forget the Lakers has list every single game when matched up against the elite teams such as the Spurs, Heats, Celtics, Dallas and Bulls with a recent heartbreaking lost to the Celtics at home last Sunday and to the Spurs at home this past Thursday by 1 point at the buzzer which seem to stir up the recent trade rumors. The Lakers next big game will be this Thursday at 8pm on TNT against the Celtics and I’m sure if the Lakers lose this trade will definitely go from a rumor to a reality!
