Well it’s been a year since the two have spoke a source told South Africa’s Heat Magazine and the two have had made contact thanks to Chris Brown’s emotional performance at the 2010 Bet Awards.

Rihanna feels she could be friends with Brown again because his performance really touched her and she’s never seen that side of him before.

The two were each other’s first love and he is happy to be talking again as he missed her so much. They are considering meeting face to face but there is his probation – Chris has to stay at least 100 yards away from Rihanna for five years.

So it looks like if they do get back together they won’t be able to see each other until 2014.
