Def Jam Not Happy With Shyne?

When it was announced that Def Jam had signed Shyne for a multimillion dollar deal, most called it a bad move. Well if the rumors going around are true, it looks like they were right.

Shyne is still not allowed to leave his native Belize and word is this is making the recording of his new album very difficult. Not only is it hard for him to work with different producers and rappers, but I’m hearing that Shyne hasn’t really done much work and there is nobody down there to really supervise him to see that the album gets recorded. So far my source told me has turned in a total of 2 songs and both of them were not that great.

If that scrapped verse he did for Khaled is any indication, I can see why Def Jam is worried about this one. Do you think it was a good move to sign Shyne?

Nas Vs.  will.I. am?

This is one that came out of nowhere but it sounds like it may have some kick to it! Nas has been pretty light when it comes to the beef in his career and will.I.am., well this guys about as harmful as a dripping wet puppy. So when I heard that the two recently got into a squabble in an L.A. studio it took me by surprise…until I got the back story.

We all know Nas is getting put through the ringer by his wife and baby mama, Kelis. She’s getting him for pretty much every dollar he makes and has gotten him held in contempt of court more than once. Well Kelis also happens to be singed to will.I.am’s music label…see where this is going. So apparently Nas bumped into will at a studio in LA and when Will extended his hand, he got no love in return but only a mocking shrug from the God’s Son. This led Will to ask what was up and that’s when Nas let him have it and went off on the little fellow. The person who hipped me to this said it wasn’t physical at all, and was pretty one sided with Nas just yelling in Will’s face the whole time before Will eventually just walked away.

This has got to be one of hip hop’s funniest beefs if this pans out. Honestly though I think Nas had no reason to be mad at Will. He ain’t doing nothing but trying to eat off her records, can’t knock the hustle Nasir.

Yo Gotti Show Stopped!

You know there’s always gotta be a rotten apple to spoil the bunch. At a recent Yo Gotti show some jackass decided to throw a water bottle at the King Of Memphis and got the show stopped and fromwhat I hear, his head almost stomped. Peep the video below:
