Diddy To Shelf His Auto Tune Album?

This Death of Auto Tune movement Jay started is really starting to pick up some steam and ruffle a lot of feathers. It has been the constant chatter of the biz these past few days and it is making some people very unhappy with Jay.  In fact I am hearing one of them is actually a close friend of Jay whose latest album was done COMPLETELY in auto tune and he now feels he has to shelf his entire project.

I am speaking of none other than P. Diddy. Diddy’s new album is all auto tune and obviously he is not happy with the fact that the public now considers the whole thing tired and wack due to Ambassador Jay giving in the long goodbye. Right now it looks like  Diddy plans to shelf the album and call it a loss rather than release it and be seen as tired and played out. It is also being said that Diddy and Jay have had a few unpleasant phone convos since this whole thing in which Diddy let Jay know just how he feels about Jay fucking up his money.

I knew this whole anti auto tune movement would have some casualties but Diddy? Honestly after Kanye did it, wouldn’t the idea of a rapper doing a whole album in auto tune be kind of corny by itself anyway? I think everything happens for a reason and this is going to turn out to be a good thing for the Puffster.

Snoop Dogg Feeling The Recession?

West Coast legend Snoop Dogg has been a little quiet lately, not releasing any new music or touring much at all. While most assume he is just at home chilling, and that’s probably what he’s doing, it is also coming out that he is going through some hard times. Word is Snoop is having money issues and it is getting worse and worse for the West Coast Don.

Snoop and his family have lived in the same L.A. mansion for over a decade however it is being said he is close to losing this home to foreclosure. Also several cars of his collection have had to disappear lately due to Snoop not being able to keep up with the payments. The intel I am getting is that Snoop’s money issues mainly stem from taxes and overspending when the money was good. Now that things have slowed up a bit all the bills are catching up to him at once and he is having a hard time staying above water.

Damn Snoop get it together homie. You know the people love you, all you gotta do is release another banger and were gonna eat it up. Just no more sensual seduction. In case you didn’t get the memo, Auto Tune is dead!

T-Pain’s New Chain!

Wow. Some moments you are at a loss for words over. T-Pain’s new “Big Ass Chain” is one of those moments. Pain debuted this monster at a recent concert and posted the images on his Myspace and Twitter which got nothing but hate and back lash. Most of the haters were broke people saying that it is irresponsible for Pain to do something like this during these times. To the haters Pain had this to say:

“Let’s celebrate the fact a black man can have things like this and still care for 3 kids and wife in a $6 million house with 32 cars. Oldest child 5 and already got 4 million in her own account. I don’t do dumb sh*t like this till I know the fams good. so don’t judge me from what I buy. Judge me from what I do. Cuz it’s so many artists that put themself before their family.”
