Eminem Answers Rick Ross?

 

The beef between Rick Ross and 50 Cent is looking like it is about to spill over into a whole other realm as it looks like BOSS!,  is about to get what he wanted. Ross has been telling anybody who will listen lately that he is done with 50 and now he wants piece of his boss, that of course being Eminem. Ross has said this a few times in the past since this whole beef started but after the release of a new web video (see below), word is getting out that Eminem is now officially up for the challenge and is about to seriously go in on Ross.

 

Supposedly Em has been bunkered down in the studio as he always is but instead of just focusing on album material he has been spending his time making diss records towards Ross. The word is that instead of going the internet route with the current trend of diss vids and all that, Em just wants to keep it hip hop and put out scathing battle raps to do Ricky in. I am even hearing that 50 Cent has offered his assistance but Eminem wants to handle this job dolo and hammer the nail into the coffin himself.

 

Oh boy. I hope Ricky knows what he’s getting into with this one. I think both of these guys are dope MC’s, so hopefully this whole thing will blow over but with Ross making these kinds of statements, I really can’t see Em just brushing that off. Who do you think will win the battle between Eminem and Rick Ross.

 

The Clipse Get Indicted?  

 

This is one of those that I hope is just a rumor, but with the facts surrounding it, it’s

looking kinda iffy. The Clipse have been praised as one of hip hop’s all time greatest groups. Although the duo have had a hard time getting that commercial success since their first album, Lord Willin, they have maintained a loyal following through mixtapes and a strong internet buzz. The Clipse subject matter is almost entirely cocaine based and it looks like the duo might have not been reaching too far to create those lines, accoriding to recent arrests in the Virginia area.

 

The Clipse manager, Anthony Gonzalez was just charged with the crime of leading a $10 million dollar drug ring. Gonzalez and his crew supposedly moved everything from weed to coke and operated out of  popular Virginia night club, The Encore Lounge. The Clipse were of course regulars at the club and associated with Gonzalez on a daily basis at least several times a day. Now word is going around that it is only a  matter of time before the boys in blue come knocking on Pusha and Malice’s door.

 

The early word is that the feds are just waiting on one of the over 20 people who were arrested in the sweep to crack and tell on the Thornton brothers. At the very least they could be charged with laundering funds from a drug dealer since their business and record label was so closely associated with Gonzalez, but it is being said that the Feds are going for the gusto and want to get a more serious trafficking charge put on the boys.

 

So far The Clipse have not issued a statement and from what I am hearing have been kind of hard to find since the arrests happened on Monday (good idea). The Feds who carried out the raid and investigation also have not publicly said that The Clipse are a target so hopefully this is just hear say. One thing is a fact though, with that many people arrested facing that much time, someone is going to tell, even if  what they are telling is a lie. Let’s hope Pusha T and Malice can keep giving it to us 4 Cheap and keep the boys off their back.
