Hip Hop Not Feeling We Are The World?

The We Are The World songs of the 80’s and 90’s Were once standards for all celebs. So recently when Quincy Jones announced he was gathering today’s biggest stars to be a part of the new version in MJ’s honor it was expected that everybody would be jumping a the chance to be involved. However that is not the case.

Almost ALL of the acts that were asked to be on the project have refused. Jay-Z. Lil Wayne, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, even Alicia Keys! Wait there’s more. Timberlake, Madonna, hell J.Lo even said no and she has NOTHING going on. Word is that the whole idea just seems corny now and all these people don’t want to jump on someting that seem so dated and played out.

I gotta say I saw this one coming. In today’s world nobody wants to hear a corny we are the world message. Maybe never did…

50 Cent And Eminem Beef? 

50 Cent and Eminem have been tight as virgins ever since Em’ brought Fitty into the game. However we all know 50 is big on guilt by association and some are saying that his boss may have overlooked this fact on a recent performance.

The song “Forever” that Em is on has been getting major burn and was the finale performance of this weeks Grammy’s. Lil Wayne and 50 Cent have had public issues in the past and some troublemakers are now running around saying that Fif’ may have a problem with the fact that his boss is frolicking around with Weezy now. Remember all it took for Fat Joe and Jadakiss to get on his shit list was doing a song with Ja. So far nothing official has come out but people close to the scene say 50 does feel a way about it but will never come out publicly against Em.

I think that’s a good idea. Don’t wanna pull a Sigel around here or anything right? Besides that track is hot and 50 is kinda cool right now…and not in a good way. Peep the Soundscan homie.

Crazy Celeb Superbowl Parties!

The Superbowl is going down in Miami this weekend and you already know it is going to be a wild scene. All the celebrities in the UNIVERSE will be there and I have gotten several tips through e-mail that Diddy and Jeezy specifically will be holding it down hard in the MIA. I’m told Diddy is throwing parties in several clubs that will be open to the public but Jeezy’s bashes are more on the hush hush tip and will require an invite.

All I wanna know is why I haven’t gotten any invites yet? Or a plane ticket to enjoy the fun. Guess sippin pitchers at the local sports bar will have to do for this poor underpaid journalist… Heart strings tugging yet anyone…?
