Jay-Z To Forgive The Miami Police Department?

After the news broke yesterday of the Miami Police department’s disrespectful portrayal of cultural icon Jay-Z, as a gang member several people have been waiting to hear a reaction from Jay. Many people assumed he would take legal action against the department but I’m hearing otherwise…

Word is Jay is taking the high road on this one and is not even going to come at the MIA police at all. Whats going around is that Jay will issue a statement stating his obvious disapproval of the ad campaign but focusing more on the mentality and racism that brought this situation up instead of getting back at the police. I’m hearing no lawsuits and probably just a few sneaky lines here and there in some upcoming records but nothing too serious.

I gotta say I think this is the best route. The MIA police have made a complete fool of themselves with this one and I think as many people as possible need to be made aware of this situation.  MIA PD has since removed the picture featuring the gang bangning Jay but it has already become a top topic on Twitter and several media outlets are covering the story.
