Khaled Tries To Make Peace?

DJ Khaled is known for uniting artists. So it is being said that with this whole Jeezy Vs. Ross thing he is now using his unifying power to bring the two together again but this time not on wax, but to end their little BMF back and forth thing they got going on.

Word is Khaled has been trying to get the two on the phone and prevent Ross from releasing any response records he has. So far I am hearing Khaled has not been very successful as Jeezy has not responded yet. I know Khaled has good relationships with both of these guys so maybe this is the only hope…?

Dr. Dre VS. Ice Cube?

Dr. Dre and Ice Cube originated this gangsta shit. After working together off and on for almost 20 years you would think it would be a no brainer that Dre would be contributing to Cube’s latest project. However that is not the case. According to Cube he has not been able to get a hold of the Doc even though they had agreed previously to work on the record.

“Many asked about Dr. Dre working on my album. Negative, Dre has been M.I.A. for a few months now. I asked Snoop has he heard from him and he said, no. I can’t wait,” Ice Cube said  on his blog.  “I gotta turn my s**t in by Aug. 20th to make street date…Sept 28th. I’ll keep you posted if anythang new develops.”

Well this isn’t hard to figure out. You see not too long ago Cube put out the track “Kool-Aid” in which he pretty much dissed Dre and the whiteboy.

“I ain’t the doctor / This ain’t the patient / This ain’t that ni**a always on vacation / This ain’t no white boy’s rehabilitation…”

So now he wonders why Dre ain’t picking up the phone after he disses him and his most successful artist? Put down the chronic homie it’s getting to your brain.  Knowing Dre we will never get any kind of confirmation on this, but let’s just say Cube won’t be on Detox…
