Word has it that the 2008 G-Unit budget came out, and it seems that two
of its top acts are not getting any funding. A source claiming to be
familiar with the new budget said, “With the cuts, tough choices had
to be made. And Lloyd Banks and Mobb Deep projects have to be shelved
… I don’t think that they’ll be officially ‘dropped,’ but they won’t
be getting much label support either.”

But other G-Unit artists are safe. The source said, “Young Buck and Tony Yayo are expected to release
albums in 2008.”

We can understand Mobb Deep getting shelved because Prodigy is locked up for the next few years, but damn, Lloyd Banks? He used to be one of the nicest when he came out, he just fell off now.
