Lupe Joins Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music?

This one does make sense, as he certainly isn’t happy with Atlantic. Lupe Fiasco has been in well quite the fiasco lately with his label Atlantic Records over the release of his upcoming album titled “Lasers”.  He has taken to the internet and even arranged protests outside Atlantic’s New York offices, with his major beef being that Atlantic just doesn’t believe in him and doesn’t want to put out his album.

However it looks like for the time being that has been resolved as Lupe has said he has reached a middle ground with the label and “Lasers” will be released before the end of the year.  But now it is coming out that Lupe is looking to join Kanye’s ever expanding roster over at G.O.O.D. Music and get down with the Grammy Family. Lupe and Kanye have worked together many times over the years so this isn’t too far fetched.

The only thing I’m wondering on this one is how is he going to get out of his Atlantic paperwork? Maybe they really don’t want him that bad and are just going to let him go…?

Wayne Cutting Off Those Who Didn’t Come To Visit Him?

Weezy is almost home. November 14th is fast approaching and soon the Martian will touch back down on civilian soil and hopefully get back to making amazing music. It’s also being said Wayne will be making some changes to his personal life and those who he deals with. There have been many reports of celebs going to visit Wayne in Rikers. Everyone from Drake to Diddy, T.I., Nicki Minaj, to of course Baby. Even Tech Nine managed to get in there.  However some didn’t come see him and it is being said that Weezy is feeling a certain way about that.

Word is Wayne is going to remember those who forgot him while he was away and will not be dealing with those people anymore. There are a number of NYC rappers Wayne was VERY cool with before going in and they have not come to see him at all, despite the fact that they LIVE in the same city he is imprisoned in. I’m told by someone close to the situation that Wayne isn’t particularly mad about this but will take it into consideration when he is released as to who he will align himself and work with in the future.

Can’t say I blame him on this one. Gotta cut the grass and see the snakes sometimes homie…

No Labels Want Shyne?

Shyne has been wack ever since he was released from prison. From Khaled publicly dissing and scrapping his song for his latest album to horrible reviews and comments for every track he has put out since his release, it is just not looking like he is the hot commodity everyone thought he would be. However he did still manage to get a few M’s out of Def Jam and now he is saying he is not happy with that situation and wants a new home.

The only problem here is…nobody wants him! Shyne name checked a few labels and CEO’s in his letter expressing his desire to leave Def Jam but I’m hearing all those labels he showed interest in including Cash Money and Interscope have said “Thanks, but no thanks.”

I’m told it’s not just the music on this one but Shyne’s inability to legally enter the United States. This would obviously KILL the promotion on a project so why take the risk for a rapper no one thinks is any good anymore? Maybe Shyne shot, I meant spoke too soon on this one…?
