Nas And Damien Marley Album Scrapped?

When it was announced that Nas And Damien Marley were going to drop a joint album together more than a few people were gassed up.  The album was more than rumor as both Nas and Marley had confirmed it and even leaked the name, Distant Relatives. However after months of nothing coming out most people are wondering where is the album?

Well if intel is correct they will be sorely dissapointed.  Word is even though the album is almost completely recorded it will not see the light of day. The details are still sketchy but from what I’m heareing it has to do with label issues more than anything  being it much more on the Def Jam side, since Nas is still under their paperwork don’t forget.  

Maybe these relatives were too distant for the Def Jam/ Universal brass…let’s see how it goes.

New Boosie Album?

It was sad news when we all learned that Boosie Boo is goignt away to do some time. Whether 6 months or the full two years, he will be missed and we can only hope for the best. However though as with most artists I am hearing that Mr. Hatch is using these tribulations as inspiration.

Word is Boosie is about to go on some straight T.I. grind and put in some major overtime before he has to turn himself in. The exact date of when he will have to surrender is still unknown but it is expected to be no later than December of this year.  Between then and now Boosie is supposed to be cranking out a new album as well as several mixtapes and any guest appearance he can get his voice on. Also a slew of online videos and official videos for the major networks are to be shot as well.

Hopefully Boosie can pull this off in time. Two years is a long time for the public to forget abot you so he will need plenty of material to feed the streets. Pray for Boosie ya’ll.
