Is Nicki Minaj pregnant by Lil Wayne or Drake, or is this yet another round of celeb gossip gone wild? It appears new rumors have surfaced claiming the “Pink Friday” rap star is expecting.

The source reporting that Minaj is pregnant is MediaTakeOut.  The site just so happens to be infamous for publishing other untrue reports, such as news Beyonce was pregnant or a story that Jay-Z and Beyonce were close to divorcing.  For their Minaj gossip, they posted a rather sensationalized headline “MTO Exclusive: Nicki Minaj is Pregnant!! (Details)” along with a picture.  The picture shows Nicki and a caption reading “Lil Wayne is furious Nicki…for choosing to start a family so early in her career…”

According to an update from Gossip Cop, the rumor is untrue, as a Minaj rep informed them she is “NOT pregnant.”  Gossip Cop has pointed out other false stories from MediaTakeOut in the past.  It’s a shame that MTO needs to make up stories to get attention to their website, but that seems to be the nature of celeb gossip online.

So Nicki Minaj isn’t pregnant by Wayne or Drake.  If she was, it would definitely give Minaj a much busier schedule than she has now.  Nicki is still embarking on what should be a lengthy, successful career in music and other ventures.  In addition to touring, appearing on shows and recording music, she’d have her hands real full caring for a Nicki, Wayne or Drake Jr.!
